MEET OUR FOUNDER

Wire Maven began as a passion project in 2021, inspired by a love for thoughtful interiors, meaningful design, and the incredible talent within South Africa’s artisan community. What started as a small idea quickly grew into a brand rooted in craftsmanship, sustainability, and creating timeless lighting and decor for intentional spaces.

For me, it has always been about more than the product itself. It’s about the people behind each piece, the care woven into the process, and creating spaces that feel warm, calm, and meaningful.

VISIT OUR STUDIO

WELLINGTON, SOUTH AFRICA

In 2026, we opened the doors to our first Wire Maven studio in Wellington, South Africa, a space where our community can experience the brand beyond the screen.

Visitors are invited to step into the world of weaving, meet the team, and see our handcrafted process come to life in real time. Alongside our working studio, guests can explore a curated collection of lighting and decor pieces, experiencing the texture, warmth, and detail of each design in person.

SUSTAINABILITY WITH INTENTION

At Wire Maven, sustainability is considered throughout every stage of our process. From producing wire frames with minimal waste to carefully sourcing materials from local South African suppliers, we are committed to creating responsibly and intentionally.

Our weaving process is designed to utilise materials as efficiently as possible, helping reduce unnecessary waste while maintaining the quality and character behind each piece. By sourcing locally and partnering with suppliers who share our environmental values, we are also able to reduce transportation emissions, support local businesses, and contribute to a more sustainable future through thoughtful design and production.
